Ladies let me talk to you for a while, Why you letting him control your life and take away your smile? Truth be told, God has a plan for your life.
You are not somebodies 2am call, you are somebodies wife.
Don't let them talk to you like that, you're not stupid, you're not a ****, you're none of these things...you're better than that.
We are the daughters of a king, that would make each of a a princess, Don't think so low of yourself, you deserve nothing less than God's best.
Ladies we got to do better, we gotta keep the dresses and skirts down.
That gift is for your groom to be on that day you wear your wedding gown.
Don't let them fool you, sex wont keep him with you. In fact, after sex he just may leave you.
Don't let the world fool, having his baby wont keep him with you. In fact, after having his baby, he just may leave you.
I once heard someone say, no wed no bed and no ring, no ting.
That simply means, if he is not your husband, he doesn't get nothing no matter what type of gifts he tries to bring.
They say pregnancy is new black, maybe that's why im wearing pink. Don't give in, we are stronger than we think.
We gotta stop looking at Melanie and Derwin or Monica and Quincy or Edward and Bella and thinking that's real love.
Real love comes from our heavenly father above.
We gotta stop sending those same old tired prayers up to God. You know the ones that go like this, "Lord if I only had a man." "Lord where is my husband?" "Lord I just wanna be a bride!"
How we asking for a man and we not all together on the inside?
We need to ask him to prepare us first, instead of doing it in reverse
I used to say those same prayers, I was right there with you too.
But then I learn, I cannot only be title ready, I gotta be duty ready too.
Ladies we need to dress the way we want to be addressed.
If you were your dresses and skirts up here, that may get you a whistle.
But if you dress appropriately and cover your body then you may get his initials.
We gotta stop loving out Mr. Wrong and wait on our Mr. Right.
Because when its all said and done, he will be the one waiting for us as we are walking down the aisle in out all white.
We don't need the piercings in our naval or the tattoos on our back.
That is just asking for unnecessary attention from the wrong guys and we really don't need that.
Tattoos I wanted badly and piercings I had, but for what reason, was i trying to make a good girl go bad?
No I was trying to fit in with people who talk to you when you wear this or that.
