Lady President
Is the world ready for a lady president?
Can we for a moment think of such a change,
Will men spread a cold war of politics to ruin her leadership?
We ain't ready for such a leadership.
Even the powerful nations prove this clearly.
How long will we continue to suppress our women?
Undermining them, giving them hope yet dimming their their chances.
Look at the pain our ladies go through.
Is the world ready for a lady president ?
A question that hangs around my head yet breaking my neck,
I can see the havoc within the society.
A woman cry is heard though ignored by men,
My beloved sister, I don't want to see your pain caused by men,
Let's accommodate our ladies.
As the day ends, we go to our wives, sisters, mothers and girlfriends.
Is the world ready for a lady president?
Will the country vote for a lady to sit at the seat?
Will men listen to her or will they tarnish her words?
Each country sees this sear reserved for a man.
Though few countries are lead by a lady president, most are lead my men.
My words of worry, my words of concerns.
