Lady of the Spring

Lady of the Spring

Ah, Welcome vivacious Lady of the Spring,

Cautiously woken from thy long Winter sleep.

Now in your presence does the new Season sing

And each newborn bud its hidden promise keep.

You smile when sad Winter’s sombre course is run

And playful shadows follow the warming sun.

The joy that full blossomed May’s bright petals bring

And fresh life is yours, dear Lady of the Spring.

Thank you very much, Heidi. I was inspired by the blossom in my garden. // Barry.
