Lady At Foot of the Cross

The Lady At The Foot Of The Cross

Walking to that place
Where time stood still and people were asking for His Grace
Her brown eyes shedding a tear
The Man she has loved will soon no longer be here

Looking down on her, she bows to Him
Her facial expressions growing sad and dim
She cries out to the LORD
For she has been favored Most adored

The angels bring her gladness
His death will not be the thing remembered last
His second coming is remembered by all
From Mary Magdalene to Paul

The lady is the Queen Mother
Her son Jesus Christ is Our Brother
Mary the Mother of God
You have walked where Heavenly angels have trod
