Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

Premiere Contest WinnerLa Seduction

I watched it all
from my backseat
rolling out
like a red carpet
the charm
the lies
the deceit
and she took it all in
every last drop of it
it was much
like watching
a trainwreck
in slow motion

Wow! Congrats... Thanks for sharing your talent. (I'm warned by your poem... as I remember the subtle seduction of a craving...) God bless you.

Congratulations on your win, Line. I am picturing this a child in back of a car seeing her mom being taken for another "ride" Did I come close?

It's awful when you can see it happening, but are powerless to stop it... well penned!
