La Belle Ferronniere
Left me breathless by her extreme beauty
hair as black as a ravens flight feather,
no compliment would neglect a duty
radiated warmth of summers weather,
eyes of emerald, clear as crystal glass
her smile revealed teeth of white, like pure snow,
mesmerised by defined majestic class,
amazingly painted by Leonardo,
who's this grandiose lady that I stare,
could she be an ironmongers daughter,
transfixed by beauty La belle ferronniere,
desperate was a French King her suitor,
neither a top model or beauty queen,
most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
