When I saw the rules about animals with its difficult rhyme scheme, I thought this was not for me. Then I saw a funny picture and began writing. I revised it three times, but I finished. So my advice is never to give up. Search for inspiration in songs, pictures, and other poetry. Something will come up.

Sometimes you just have to step back, clear your mind and let it come to you naturally, organically. If it makes you feel better Paul and John frequently had mind jams. It happens to the best of us

Thanks Tom, l agree. I'm going to file it today. l still cant get the lyrics to go the way l want even though it had a great hook. It would make a good song for a heavy metal genre but that's not what l want. l'll work on something new today if l can clear my head. I'm into Art Rock so i'm not sure why l was drawn into this last one. Back to pen and paper lol.
