L-O-V-E Is Our Route
you told me you love me this way
I told you that I love you that way
Can love be left if you love me right?
yet I know we don't always get love with our delight
Yes, I'd like to hang out with you
through and through for the next fifty years too
Yes, I know friendships last longer
and marriages surely aren't always stronger
Yes, I know I have a friend for life in you
we'll romp, we'll play, but we'll never say, "I do"
And that's okay cause I like it this way
right or wrong-- we're more than that 'til we go gray
So, with these thoughts that I spelled out
we'll spell out L-O-V-E is our route
