Known Unto God

nameless hero’s sleep

                                          carrying allegiance 
                                          to eternal graves

                                          a debt we owe
                                     to preserve their strife
                                      lest they died in vain

Marikate Kingston Date: 5/18/2025 8:11:00 PM Ironically, I gave money today to soldiers who spent their lives saving Americans now in "eternal graves" "The never ending "debt we to owe, to preserve their strife lest they died in vain" I am the stepdaughter of a navy seal, the niece of a Green beret who lost 2 limbs in V. Nam I always thanks vets anywhere for their allegiance". Meaningful one for me to find. I have been working in this form, having a lot of success on being accepted for the cherita anthologies, the first one, "winter lands", published on Amazon this month.
