Known

Of those I've known and know,
of they whose name I've heard,
of all I've spoken to and of,
and those who of me the same,
we all this Earth do pass, and mortal
frames crumble back to dust,
and eternal spirits we remain,
and are swept away.

I am counting on being swept away to a better place. It has to be!! I really like this kind of poem. Short and direct! Well done.
