Knowledge
I bumped into him
My eighty and something year decrepit teacher
He was wearing a coat
Moth-eaten,shabby and antiquated
Overlooking an ostensively,presumed shirt
In his haste has unwisely buttoned up
A pair of pants obsolete
He would oftentimes disregard to zip up
He was fidgeting for a cigarette butt
His nicotine-stained fingers collapsed to tame,
In vain disenchanted to stub out
Sipping the grounds of a coffee and residue
Grieving to run its course, grant his wishes
And to his inflamed will abide
Only then did I approach his vision
Of this agitated ,perturbed and harassed world
That I to my daze ascertained how
His know-how gallantly harmonized with
His hoary grey-haired head
Above all his alert,vigilant mind
His antediluvian glasses,
His high-pitched nose
Only then did I surmise
Hope springs eternal
Look yonder disguise
Beyond semblance.
