Knowledge

I have seen who I really am.
I don't stand in front of the mirror
But in front of myself.
I stand on the legs I was built on.
Can you understand that?
All the drama, stress, love lost
and family guess and that's just
touching the surface.
I ask can you see who I
could have been if things was
different?
....but I love me because of the
strength I took from the pain I
endorsed .
       Now I say...
I am the she you see.
The woman that comes to you
with all my flaws.

Introspection is a very difficult thing to perform. You have written this very well.
