Knew Each Was the One

We sat there by the stream. The water and light trickled into one. We heard each other dreams and knew each was the one.

We danced under the moon in flakes of gentle snow. We waited for the morning sun to produce its summer glow.

We found the deepest oceans in each other’s souls. We soared over the mountains like eagles coming home.

Love remains within us and forever it will not go. Because I know we love each other more than each of us will ever know.
