Klaatu Barada Nikto. If that is how it's done, then so it will be done. I now lift my hand and will be gone. So movingly inside this single one, existence fought nullification, and amazingly, victoriously, won, that day Earth lived on. Klaatu Barada Nikto *** April 30, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

Very cool my friend I knew the phrase sounded familiar but had to look it up as well. The Day the Earth Stood Still is one of my favorite SciFi movies, both versions. The poem is perfect for the theme of the film, you have captured it nicely.

Since Tim already looked it up I can't without running the risk of being called a copy cat, so fill me in. Even without that, and setting aside the concrete shape, I read this as something coming from a place deep inside you that has quietly grown stronger and stronger through the struggle and is ready to introduce itself to the world.

It is a metaphor in a way, yes. I love the film, because despite all the evil happening there, and the alien's complete innocence combined with frustration, he decides to geve Earth a second chance. Just as I decided to give life a second chance in a way.

I can recommend the film, there is the original old one (which is my favourite), and a remake. Both are good, and, for a youngster like me, both are old :P Thanks Tim :)
