Kite

I am the flight of the wind
you would not see
t'were it not for the string you held beneath me

and if the wind you think you understand
lies within the grasp of your hand
then next time that wind should blow
with all your strength

try letting go

How sweet this perfect for spring poem is. This is poetry month. Call a school and offer to let them read it...or you read it. Keep writing, Dane
