Kit Kat

SHE'S ON HER WAY OUT

Little by little he takes down our tree
it was a magical place here for a while
now every bauble and light begins to plea
please bring me back next year with style

Little by little, Christmas season waves goodbye
down comes the decors, a New Year is on the fly
Its time to collect dreams hopes and promises
and bring them to the winds of a whimsical kiss

Little by little I see life like a Kit Kat Rowntree
and yes you eat the butter and skim the ghee
this year, make a promise you can keep
laugh much cry less, take love to the deep ,

Happy New Year Everyone !

Taking down the tree is always a little sad, a little wistful, which is why we delay it til President's Day!

Pixie Dust, it is an entertaining poem, and it makes me glad that I am determined to keep my little tree up for a bit. I like the advice "laugh more, cry less". Beautiful.

Interesting comparison to a kit kat... Well expressed Pixie..
