Kintsugi
I must apologize for the state of my heart
It’s shiny and shattered
Like a porcelain cup
My bitterness staining everything it touches
But you come in smelling of lemon
And forgiveness
Wiping up the mess he made of me
While I pick myself up
And arrange the pieces
Then with you gentle touch
You sealed my heart with gold
