Beautiful little bird and a good entry for the contest, Linda. An unusual form, well written. Good luck and have a great weekend my friend. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

I’ve only seen a couple of Kingfishers and never perched. In flight they’re like a tiny luminescent metallic blue dart. Absolutely awe inspiring and beautiful. You capture that little bird wonderfully, Linda. All the best in the contest. Terry

Hey Terry. They are hard to spot in trees. I hadn't thought of the dart analogy, but you are correct-great! Thanks for your read and wishes! :)
