Notes About The Poem

King of Kings

An illuminating moonscape came on Sunday In Spring of thirty-three C.E. [The third day] Executed—Jesus the Nazarene Falsely charged with sedition God raised Jesus back to life Forty days later, Jesus ascended to heaven Unlike legends, the Gospel reflects Painstaking accuracy and detail refined If those events really did happen Then there is a bright future for mankind! 1 Corinthians 15:14 14

Painfully revealing and observation, but a belief that gives hope to many. Robert

I have been reading about the shroud of Turin and realize how accurate the gospels are. Well done.

Yes, Jesus Christ's impression left on the shroud, many believe. The Holy Shroud, linen cloth bearing the negative image of a man. Some describe the image as depicting Jesus of Nazareth and believe the fabric is the burial shroud in which he was wrapped after crucifixion.

I saw the alleged "Robe of Christ" at Trier Cathedral back in 1959 and thought that even if Christ were as tall as Mickey Rooney, he would still be arrested for indecent exposure in that "tunic" in 1959, but your poem reminded me the Vatican has a treasury of Christ artifacts, including blood-soaked slivers of the true cross, so do a DNA test for Easter! Millions of women would be happy to know their gedcom connected to Mary (no need to ask Y) . . . . Aloha!

Cool! & Lol...I can live vicariously through you, Rico. The sanctuary of Christ's seamless robe! Wunderbar! My daughter had it done (DNA Test) ...it just maybe that the 4% percent unknown in our DNA is from Mary's line...that is; Mary Magdelene's line!
