Kindness

KINDNESS

Be ye kind, one to another
Is not just a simple request
It's meant to remind us of our brother
And show them our very best

I know that I have been highly Blessed
Now I share that Blessing each day
By telling others who need to rest
How they can change their way

I have been tested -- a test that I passed
And now I can look back and see
Where I was shown ways that last
And I'm telling others how to be free

My calling in life is not to preach
But I still must let others know
So now I take the time to teach
Plant the seeds, and watch them grow

Seeds that will grow and fruit to bear
Not just a month or two
When given the proper kind of care
They will create a brand new you

I finally learned the meaning of what my Mama used to say. "You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar." This coincides with Proverbs 15:1 which states, "A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger." The older I got, the smarter Mama got.
