Kind'A Dumb

Not too bright
Kind'a dumb,
Always sucking
On his thumb

Dim mind using
Dim ideas
Pretty slow
Too dumb for tears

Sittin' in the corner
Turkey gizzard neck,
Wondering why,
Oh, what the heck!

Can't fly no more,
Well,.... never could...
Turkey breast,
On his car hood

Back to the barnyard
Feathers fly
That silly rooster
Wondered why

Stovetop stuffing
Candied yam
Poor old turkey
Wished he was ham.

Delightful one for Thanksgiving. Poor turkey. I wonder if some folks ever consider giving a turkey a year off?! lol Last Thanksgiving, I had chicken instead. Just got bored with the whole turkey dinner. Have a great week. Always, Annalise
