Nurses battle death, determined and brave;
        seems strange they're overworked and underpaid.
Some front-line workers died, and things got grave
        each risked their life despite being afraid.
Honk your horns! Applaud! And cheerfully wave!
        Kind gestures taste much sweeter when homemade.

nice one, emile! i'm so glad that we've all been applauding the health-care workers, especially after hearing that in some other countries, nurses are being jeered at and ostracized because of their proximity to covid patients...
