You lost a part of you that horrid day
Also chemo took its toll
‘Only the cancer died’.

A powerful kimo...I have a close relaitve who passed through chemo...but thanks God only the cancer died...Life wasnt easy..but as they say -'All bad things come to an end'...and the dark chapter is bygone..now.

powerfully penned Harry, love that final line, not many in the world who haven't been affected either directly or indirectly by this cruel disease but without hubbies cancer surgery I would never have picked up my pen and written my first poem since schooldays:-) hugs jan x
