Kids In the Park-Collaboration
Swing set riders
And sliding board sliders
And players
On the merry-go –round
Getting scratched up knees
From climbing up trees
Dirty sneakers
From the mud on the ground
Holding hands with his pal
Ignoring scratch from the fall
Shouting together
Playing on, calling all
Paying push –cart prices
For their cool Italian ices
And their lips
Turned cherry and blue
And they ride their bikes
As they go on hikes
Swatting nets
As the butterflies flew
They make choo-choo trains
And have green grass stains
And go fishing
In the pond in the park
They have fun in the sun
While they play and they run
Having fun
Until the days are getting dark
