Khaleelah

I’ve hoped for your bond
But I remain cut off from hope,
You’re the one who I entrust with my eyes & sleep,
For the crumbs of musk stay under your veil
& the morning light shines under your forehead.

I’m tempted - your beauty is a killer
But do not waste my night with slanderous trembling imagination
For every night I feel so much pain
& the doctor said : do not be afraid
It’s a stray love bullet that has settled in my heart forever.

You’re Sweeter than roses
Gentler than the breezes of sunset
Softer than softness
You know that you’re beautiful
The spring of life - good- overflowing.
