Keyboard Abuse

I invented a poetic form
a staggeredrhymefreeversecouplet
with Sonnetic meter.

And as with many inventions
despite my good intentions
it failed to entice the muse
who claimed it was keyboard abuse.

Yet in my haste i still scribble
keen thoughts that turn into drivel.

Frankii Fame March 5, 2021 at 11:32 PM Lol we all should have our own form on one verse or another haha The way I look at it is "poetry is an art form" you have the words, and you look up new content, you put it together in a type of form to gravitate your audience to comment, oohs, and ahs as if it were a beautiful painting written in words.
