Key West

Sea critters
Conch fritters
Little swimmers
And lobster dinners

Surrounded by water on all sides
A little town about 4 miles wide
No, there’s nothing like Key West
This place is the absolute best

The roosters often wake you up
If not, it’s the Cuban coffee cup
A breakfast sandwich ready to go
At one of the cafes you already know

No this place never snows
So no need for winter clothes
But the heavy winds will surely blow
As hurricane season comes and goes

After you hit up an ice cream joint
You should head to the Southernmost Point
Where Cuba is only 90 miles away
The closest country from faraway

We’d always go to the beach
The ocean never out of reach
The sunsets here are just supreme
Like something painted out of a dream

Gators, turtles, and jellyfish, oh my
The seagulls above are soaring the sky
Until they dive for your food, oh why?
Time to leave the beach so adios goodbye

Duval is like bourbon street
Everyone in the whole town meets
To either grab a bite to eat
Or find a club to move their feet

Whether it’s to wine and dine
Or just to watch the full moon shine
It’ll always be a good old time
Key West, Florida is truly sublime
