Notes About The Poem

Food News

Somehow, the average American eats 71 pounds of ketchup annually. That's more than 1 pound of ketchup a week.

Ketchup Pleiades

Ketchup

Keen tastes tomato sauce
Kosher on near all foods
Knockout drenched on french fries
Kindred to the mustard
Kept recapped in the fridge
King size bottle a must
Kindly pass the ketchup

We certainly go through a lot of ketchup at our house, but not that much. A well-written Pleiades, Eve! Congrats on your 3rd place win! Blessings, Kim

Kind of kidding dear Eve but the French never use ketchup for they know how to kook! haha! Having spent 20 years in Canada I belong to those who ask to mass me the ketchup! Amusing!

Yes, loved it! Flooded me with memories of my grandma, who loved her ketchup. In particular the big beach towel someone gifted her, yellow with a bottle of Heinz. Wish I nabbed the towel before the cottage was sold. ;)
