Keeping Your Assignment Real
how well do you acknowledge your blessings from the Lord Christ?
how well do you show appreciation for what He has done in your life?
you can't deny that God has always somehow pulled you through
so what have you done to reciprocate that which He has done for you?
God has assigned you to take care of this planet and your fellow man
to keep His fauna and flora, His beasts and plants well in hand
He also desires that we have a right relationship with Him and His earthly Son
in keeping your assignments real in regards to all that He has done
to feed anyone who's hungry, to clothe someone who's gone without
to tend the sick and give living water to anyone who's suffered a drought
for us to be kind, loving and merciful to each other
to activate the Great Commission towards our sisters and brothers
to help those less fortunate by giving Christian aid
to give a hug, to lend and ear or help someone get a bill paid
to use your time, your talents and your worldly treasures
to reach, to teach, to motivate on a level that's unmeasured
but most of all to do these things with love, kindness and faith
to know that but for the grace of God you might be in their place
keeping your assignment real knowing that God has your back
keeping your assignment real on the right spiritual track
as you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you
so keep your assignment real by doing all you can do
