Notes About The Poem

Keeper of My Heart

Keeper of My Heart
by M. Griswold 01312000

To the keeper of my heart, I charge to render.
The security of my love, gentle and tender.

For within its center is my soul that dwells.
With each throbbing beat has a love that swells.

Keep it near and close, ever shaded, far from fear.
Protect it from harm to maintain its love so dear.

Surrender not its value to others at any cost.
For then its rich devotion would surely be lost.

I fully entrust my spirit and give full control.
To the keeper of my heart, my love, my soul.

Just beautiful, reminds me of my poem, 'All I Am' where I likewise express my complete surrender for the splendor of love shared. How blessed we are to live the feel you poetically composed. Really enjoyed your poem. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
