Keep Going
We’ve been through so many wars
So many fights in our lifetime
The choices that we made
Right or wrong either way it was mine
For all the things we did
For all the things we said
For all the friends we’ve lost
And all the moments that are dead
We seek redemption, we seek a new life
A new escape from our sin filled days
But what we find is just another path
Strayed away from our faults and yet we fail
We regret, we repent, we beg for mercy
We seek a new plan, a new story
But we got to stick with our climax
And soon WE WILL FIND GLORY!!!
We know what we go through
We know what we suffer
Whether it be killing someone’s ambitions or not
We all have committed a murder
We got to keep marching on
Right, left, right, left till the end
Inspiration can be found anywhere
You are surrounded by friends!
We’ll have all the scars to prove it
And all the heart breaks to expect it
All the sorrow filled days to endure it
And all the disappointments to surpass it!!!
Just know that you are not alone
Look around, take a good look around
See all the friends, and family
To pick you up when you’re down
Now walk the streets, walk the world
With your head held high
Knowing that you have options
Take off and fly!
