your love ~ my muse your voice ~ my prose             s l i                 p                      s and sails in the sky ~ stroking the silhouette of snow-kissed mountains, mirroring memories of moon-flames seized like picturesque Polaroids of a spirit that stands still & firm held by the archived songs of seaweed sentiments where mists of thoughts                 tiptoe             t r a i l i n g the skin and scales of serpentine w a v e s                         c l a w i n g through the throat of nothingness pressed in the frozen salt of silence ~ mujo’s murmur bathed in lucid blues, like air of angst, clouds of t e                  a                     r s if only the wind could grasp the water-weed wilderness ebbing and flowing within this mind ~ for the heart is a chaotic odyssey ferrying footprints in distress allowing the currents to be the sailor beckoning and betraying the seekers in search of briny bliss w e a v i n g wishes reweaving desires ~ never settling ~ wicked, yet carved with starry reveries pushing and pulling valves of the ocean held in the cradle of endless hope... but beneath the c r                             a                           s h i n g crystals & cacophonous crests, floats fragility ~ anchored in healing, drifting in hurt ~ an ephemeral effervescence an inescapable embrace breathing and b r e a t h l e s s unmoved by the tempests of time… as the sky recalls the taste of tides and the tide feels the pulse of the sky ~ resilient & relentless amidst the restless rhymes phantom phrases and the clamorous cadence of delicate life…

Love all the alliteration and internal rhyme I noticed. I don't know of this event. Or is this a famous painting? Anyway I really loved the phrase you used at the end showing the contrast of clamor with " delicate life"

Ah y e s! This is a famous art piece, IE "stroking the silhouette of snow-kissed mountains, mirroring memories of moon-flames seized like picturesque Polaroids of a spirit that stands still & firm" that snow-kissed mountain is not just any mountain, no, it's Mount Fuji! and it shows how huge the wave was on a scale. Beautiful like your poem dear poetess ~ Anaya

Thank you yes mt fuji, was interesting to learn, i never knew this artist, and also i mention mujo, cus its related to the transcient nature of the wave, and concept of the art. Thank you for your visit and comment. Appreciate it

Interesting interpretation of this painting dear inky.... Romantic start to your poem with those opening lines of love and dedication with tones of loyalty and feeling lost without the one who makes your heart beat that little bit faster... A bit of a sidenote before I continue, I love how you format you poems with letters mixed up - its really creative like sprinkling water on flowers... I'm happy you have so many loyal supporters... Anyway back to your wonderful poem (where would the soup be without you?)

Archived songs of seaweed sentiment that is interesting use of metaphor now... I'm trying to interpret what you mean.. but to me that sounds like wet and slimey songs.... interesting... There is a lot of hidden vulnerability in your poem and tender hurt... like wanting something, but you cannot have it.. letting go, but you can't and don't want to.. but feel you have no choice... but in reality, you do.... Your poetry always makes me think little Empress...

Ok, I’ve worked out your writing: it’s Third Eye speaking through Heart Centre as ego relapses whilst using mind. This means Higher Self can descend, but use materiality...different 2 how Rumi wrote. He wrote from Heart....his Third Eye was not developed & his mind did not have an advanced vocabulary ~ basically because Consciousness was not yet so developed, as language was not yet so developed - even though his heart was smashed by Shams, he did not have sufficient vocabulary. ThkU 4 this. x

Rumi wrote in Arabic... the English translations are never close to the true meaning of his words... Hi vocabulary was on a very spiritual lever, as he was not a poet, he was an Islamic scholar, and Shams was his connection from the world and God....

As always, your pen contains a hidden genius that puts the words into perspective. I like these lines, beneath the crashing crystals and cacophonous crests. Just gorgeous, and your alliteration and diction are unmatched. Excellently implemented! It's a pleasure to see your page today! Warm hugs!
