Katrina Was Your Name

Katrina, you left your mark on our land, hearts, minds,
A mercilessly unyielding rabid force of wrath,
Those who tarried paid the highest price...death,
Regression, grieving, rebuilding,
In the aftermath of distress,
Never to forget,
And life goes on.
