The definition of  dashi: A clear stock, usually with fish or vegetable base..I bought Kashi Strawberry Field Cereal for it said that it is whole grain and it has dried fruit in it..It was so good..From the first bowl of it forward, I was having blood glucose to bottom out..At first, I could not figure out what was causing it..Then I looked at the ingredients on the side of the box and that explained it..It was rice, some kind of cane syrup dried..That was not good for me at all being diabetic..
. There once was a great cereal Kashi Enjoyable for it is not squashy It's so much better than just bran That looks and taste like plain ol' tan Much more delightful than simple dashi Sponsor: Poet Destroyer~A Contest:(Limerick)Your Favorite Cereal *Note Click on "About This Poem"

Dear Sara, thanks for the note on "Kashi" as I hadn't heard of this cereal before. Give me the plain old oats or bran sugarfree and without the milk. Great entry for PD's contest and I'm wishing you success. Love, Carolyn
