One of the greatest mysteries in the history of man
Why kamikaze pilots wore helmets, they didn't give a damn
For the Emperor, they cried
They were prepared to die
Unimaginable to us but for the glory of Japan

I think it goes to show just hype Kamikazes they were? Kind of like a mockery, or a statement like, "Nothing can save you"! Who knows but thank you for making me think my friend!

The kamikaze pilot’s helmet had radio communication within the helmet...there were only a same group of pilots whose sole purpose were for suicide missions. Most of what was thought to be kamikaze was a pilot with a damaged plane out of ammunition trying to inflict as much damage as they could with what they have. because of their old world belief systems. Nice write, thank you for sharing :)
