Kaden Amari

Dear sweet baby Kaden, life is but a dream.
It's much bigger than what it seems
Your tiny shoes haven't even gotten a run down on the streets
Even right now, hope and prayer fulfill our needs until we meet,
My eyes take picture perfect Kodak's of the unfailing mother that I've seen
Shaking out the Kodak it's our hope that you become all you wanna be
Not struggling with the nickel and dime, but the change you want the world to see.
Just know He is for you, never against
Always keeping you close on His chest.
He's known you since in mommas belly you were stirring about.
While stars shine but yet, in the end, flicker, and burn out.
When others get picked first, you may wonder is it my turn now?
Just know you've been loved and chosen, my son,
You may feel it's tough to keep goin' on.
Please, I plead just know you've been CHOSEN my son.
When you feel down, He will lift you up, pick you up
He has many names, God, Jesus and Yeshua.
You are so adored, yes you are.
Yes you are.
Understand these are not just words. We truly mean it.
Please know you are uniquely created.
Speaking with your mother, some things we want you to let sink in.
We want you to grow mentally, in physical, and in spirit.
Failures will come, don't you dare fear it.
Grasp, grip the wheel of learning and steer it.
Pick the path you pave, it won't be picture perfect but make sure it's well worth it.
When you stumble and feel the worlds curses
When you want to break down, remember these verses.
Remember your momma, and your daddy
Remember the time had we
told you, You are loved and chosen, our son
And you are so adored, yes you are.
Yes you are.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
