Kachikau

Wrinkled grasses greet me with cumbersome smiles; Then the semblance of sheds with rays of light whipping the rooftops, Marauding dogs barking at the dust wreathing from my vehicle, Tree blinds melding beautifully with the moving shadows of carts that clatter over the cobbles. Sordid imaginations swerve away from my mind; "Forgive me Kachikau for all the time that i was away" I say languidly opening my eyes to the beauties of my birth place, Home sweet home! Home sweet home! Then my mind begins to recite scintillating poems within me; I finally find the me I've been searching for in indifferent places, I feel a complete sense of belonging. Winding up the day; gravid clouds bring forth intermittent drops; Bathes the land with presumed consecrated rain, And washes away progenies of sun's sweltering pain. Home sweet home!
