Just You and Me Not Friends

"I'm not ready for a relationship, but i wanna be friends."
How? Is that even possible? I really don't think so.
And even if it is, why would I want to be?
Just friends I mean. I'm not looking for friends.
I have enough of those.
I'm looking for a you to my me, you know?
You. And. Me.
Guess it'll never happen though.
Doesn't matter that you're almost always on my mind.
That when I think of you I can't help but smile.
Every little thing reminds me of you.
That the other night with you finally made me comfortable with myself.
That night, the world, my life, finally made a little bit of sense.
None of this seems to matter, even though I try to tell you.
We will never be just friends.
NEVER.
No matter how hard we try.
The other night makes it impossible.
Maybe you can look into the future and see JUST FRIENDS.
But all I want in my future is a YOU. AND. ME.
