Just You

Why are you doing this to me?
Over and over
It’s the same old story.
You can’t handle your own life
So you blame me
It’s all my fault
Always
No one else’s
Just me.
You can’t deal with your problems
So you never want to talk
You are cold
Emotionless
Heartless.
You say you’re fearless
But you’re not
You may be aggressive
But you avoid everything and everyone
You scared little boy.
Well, one day nobody is going to be around to avoid
And you’ll be all alone
By yourself
No one else
Just you.
I challenge you to look at yourself
Really look at yourself
In the mirror and count to ten.
Can you stand being there with just you and yourself
Locked in a room
No escape
Forever?
That’s what I thought.
