To stand in your love
emotions truly enriched
your lips upon mine
hold on to what we have now,
oh if we could alter time.

I love your poem: To stand in your love (usually tanka and haiku poets always use the first line as the poem title) Your lines 4 and 5 bring the poem together and give it sweet sadness. Harry, it is a beautiful very well constructed tanka worthy of an award and the way tanka should be.Very nice emotion. I like it much. Robert Henry Poulin

Yes indeed! I think at one point in anyone else's life, we do hope that we could alter time-- wonderfully said and romantic in a bit of melancholic way... very beautiful harry! Thank you for passing by and i am glad you enjoyed that tropical sunset...
