Just To Dream

Just to dream.

The eyes gently shut as the body
Curl’s under the duvet
Now cosy and comfortable
As he tries to switch of thought
And invite in the chance to get lost
In one amazing dream
Inept in doing this as
Today’s stresses and negativity want
To haunt him
Then meld into his dreams
Forming a taunting nightmare
And teasing his soul

A toss and a turn, many a frustrated sigh

Just to dream.
