Thanks Andrea. as you know we now have covid here in the community so under lockdown for the first time in 6 months but we get on with life and enjoy our daily walks even more:-) hugs jan xx

yeah got to say I am not rushing to have the vaccine in fact i will ne way down the line because of my age and no health conditions, they are starting the process on our Island today starting with care home staff:-) hugs jan xx

The only proven way to stop a pandemic is for EVERYONE to understand there are NO exclusions/exemptions/waivers in a pandemic; that EVERYONE is at risk for conveying the virus to loved ones as well as strangers. Hoping for "common" sense won't get the job done! Aloha! Rico

I think this vaccine will stop the pandemic but this virus will in some form always be around from now on. We do now have a vaccine to help keep us from dying from it though. I like your style in this one. Reads like a winner. Sara

I am not so sure on the Island Tom, i suspect we have the new strain... watch this space... but after someone self isolated 14 days and then went and socialised over about 9 days it is a huge worry. the government say its low risk i would say otherwise:-( hugs jan xx

Thanks Anne-Lise I suspect we have the new strain of the virus on the island - someone self isolated 14 days and later went on to get symptoms... meanwhile they had been socialising at various places on the Island ... we are told infection in the community is 'low risk' - hmmm we will wait and see:-( Happy New year:-) hugs Jan xx
