Just Say Hi
We often gather to help each other GROW.
But you never know just how things will GO.
Sometimes, you just have to go with the FLOW.
Whatever you do, don't just walk out the DOOR.
Find someone alone, someone you may not KNOW.
The loner may think that he's okay being a rock, an ISLAND.
Sooner or later, he'll understand, no one wants a one man BAND.
Until then, make yourself known and find out how he's getting ALONG.
He may be a real stranger or someone feeling lost, ALONE.
Let's try to make him feel at HOME, like he really BELONGS.
Let's dare to take a little time to see what's going on INSIDE.
BESIDES, for all we know, he could be an angel in DISGUISE.
He's just a little SHY, but his heart may be building up a CRY.
We can start by looking him in the EYE and just say, "HI".
It's the least we can do before he leaves and say GOODBYE.
I understand the likes of him, because I used to be that GUY.
