A judge ruled is not out of place
"She did not say 'No!'"
So justice will show 
Our disgrace to the human race!

I don't understand why people with money and hang-ups can't afford a psychiatrist able to help them behave like a "normal" human being?

When I was a lad, conduct was ruled not by religion nor law, but by the fear of shaming one's mother. It appears neither the Judge nor Bauer had any concern for their mother's reputation in her community. Our laws are based upon the concept of, "a reasonable man"; what reasonable man would agree he consented to being beaten up and abused because he did not say, "NO!"?
