Just Horsin' Around

Mummy, mummy you promised me a horse.... Yes my darling, you can have one of course Please consider we must bury auntie Mable Then we’ll turn her bedroom into a stable Remember daddy's very skilled at building and he'll paint the walls with gleaming gilding We’ve no intentions of leaving your horse outside and daddy's creative skills will be applied In future all your horses will live in our house and I’ll teach them to waltz to Johann Strauss! It'll be greater than other stables with all that bling - but people will say what were your parents thinking! Eight word challenge contest Sponsored by Robert Haigh words to be used horse, consider, remember, intentions, future, building, outside, greater 3/5/18

You know me for silly ideas Tom, I was sitting on a bus and got the first 4 lines in my head and scribbled them down and built on the poem when I got home. I have a little notebook I carry with me and the other morning woke at 6 scribbled a limerick down and went back to sleep I never know when my use will behave :-) hugs Jan xx
