Just For the Moment

Just For The Moment Follow me my friend, into a journey of our adolescent youth.. Two young girls giggling, holding hands. Life’s dreamers through the sands of time. Can you see it? The joy of being young and alive, naught a care, only the kaleidoscope of our minds embracing, Just for the moment.. Remember the clandestine paths, and the warmth of opulence waters upon our naked bodies? The smell of the ocean breezes that linger for days, while the salt of the earth bask our tender skins. Awe, The sweet taste of liqueur, that gently rocks our souls into a melody of oblivion.. The nocturnal walks we share upon the cornerstone of life, as we watch the mighty ships roll in. The quasi, young, bodacious men emerging, trying desperately to whisk away our days of innocents. Such laughter of pure delight, as we teasingly battle the guardian within. Alas! The weathered faces of time have come to greet us. That which hath stealth our youth of mind and body. We are the cry into the lonely nights, actuated by fear of the infirmity, fading ever so slowly into the aftermath of the ages... "Hush my friend" We are now protectors of yesteryear. The running beaches of freedom's future, and the seekers of love and peace. Our light of hope may linger, but a moving flame of belief comes alive, with a gentle touch of wisdom and kindness as we embrace the acceptance of the whispers in our lives... Two old girls, giggling, holding hands. Life’s dreamers, through the sands of time.. Can you see it? Just for the moment.. Dedicated to my friend Donna Staggs... A treasured memory from my youth!
