Just Dropped In

I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
~Mickey Newberry

compartments
          and partitions
in through daydreams
          out through nightmares
prescriptions and non
          null and into the void
of expansion
          spirit and soul
confined then not
          I talk to God
while the Devil
          is eavesdropping

Thanks for such a finely penned poem and a dangerous eavesdropper, we must be aware of his presence.

Yes, indeed. We must be wary.
