Just Driving Freely

just driving freely
on a whim, i get on the highway
knowing and not knowing where it leads me
i just drive and drive
i ache for a new scene after sweating for peanuts in the same reality
friday afternoon and i just got paid
letting go of monotony's firm hold is like a certain feeling after getting laid
after a while, i see water
a nanosecond after that, i see blue skies
immediately following that, i see i am heading to some part of the coast
i am revived and revamped
outside i am cool and calm, but inside i am hyped up and amped
just driving freely
i am happily lost in the many scenes of amazement
i guess being sick and tired of being sick and tired drove me to this snap decision
on the other hand, i commence to snapping some more....and it feels like jazz....
....FREE jazz if ya dig me, daddyo....
