Just Because Doesnt
Just because they can’t see my scars
Doesn’t mean that I’m without wounds.
Just because they’ve never seen my tears
Doesn’t mean I’m afraid to cry.
Just because they aren’t able see my heart
Doesn’t mean it has never been broken or has ne’er been open.
Just because I choose to be quiet sometimes
Doesn’t mean it’s them whom I wish to ignore.
Just because I have them believe that I’m okay
Doesn’t mean I am or am not.
It may mean possibly, that I’m simply just trying survive Day to Day,
Hour to Hour,
Minute to Minute
Second to Second.
Like everyone else.
Life happens to everyone-anyone...
So “just because” needs to be nothing more than anything else that isn’t revealed until it is.
Just Because.
