Just a Smile

Sitting under a tree and gnawing on my pen, I notice a woman created of clouds and flowers, water and gems, walking through the grassy meadow. As she got closer I could see her eyes glisten like the morning dew. She saw me sitting there with Writer's Block in my hands and smiled. Her smile warmed my soul, and inspired me to no end. I wrote of rippling pools in forests of majestic willows, I wrote about the sandy beach, at night with the moon reflecting off the waves, I wrote of snow capped mountains and birds on the wing, of vibrantly colored fish and playful puppies tugging tails in the sun. I wrote 'til I had no more paper to use, and still, verses flowed through my brain like a swollen river after a magnificent storm. All this given to me by a smile, and a pretty woman, made for inspiration, and awe.
